Search & Win
There’s new Swagcode out! The facebook wall clue is “Look at the Shop & Earn Coupons Lately?”. Shop & Earn is on the left of the Swagbucks homepage. Click on that and then look for the code. That’s about all I can tell you due to the rules. Hope you find it…it’s worth 1 Swagbuck! Good until 12:30 PM (EST)

Not sure what Swagbucks is? Here’s how it works.

Just sign up for Swagbucks. Make Swagbucks your home page so you always use it for your searches. Then, start searching! You usually earn 1 or 2 swagbucks every few searches. And it seems, the more obscure the search, the more likely you’ll earn a swagbuck. Redeem your swagbucks for gift cards or put the money in your paypal account! You only need 45 swagbucks to earn a $5 Amazon card or 130 swagbucks for a $10 Starbucks card…and they add up quickly!  I’ve only been doing it for a couple months and already I have 200 swagbucks! I don’t even do that many searches! I am SO getting a Starbucks card (my little treat!). Seriously, if you’re not using Swagbucks, you’re missing out on FREE money! There’s no obligation and no strings attached. I even downloaded the toolbar on my new computer and have not had ANY problems. It’s just too easy!

So get started and let me know if you’re a big winner!!

I’ll let you know what the big deal is tomorrow afternoon! You may want to Become a Fan of Walgreens on Facebook, so you don’t miss out! Could be a big let down, but it might be something AWESOME!!

UPDATE: Just saw the preview for tomorrow’s show and it said “an unprecedented FREE offer”! Oh…the suspense is killing me!!!

My 3 year old daughter and I had a great time perusing the toy aisles at Walmart yesterday!! I know lots of sites have been posting prices for all of the toy & game coupons that Coupons.com has available right now, but Walmart prices vary SO GREATLY by region, I wanted to get a first hand look at my own local area. Here’s what I discovered:
Guesstures – $20.00 – $5.00 Q = $15.00
The Game of Things – $20.00 – $5.00 Q = $15.00
Electronic Catch Phrase – $20.00 – $5.00 Q = $15.00
Pictureka – $19.96 – $5.00 Q = $14.96
Pictureka Flipper Game – $15.00 – $5.00 Q = $10.00
Clue – $15.00 – $4.00 Q = $11.00
Scrabble – $15.00 – $4.00 Q = $11.00
Scrabble Deluxe – $34.72 – $10.00 Q = $24.72
Sorry – $15.00 – $4.00 Q = $11.00
Monopoly – $10.00 – $4.00 Q = $6.00
Busy Ball Popper – $19.96 – $5.00 Q = $14.96
Chuck & Friends Fold ‘N Go Play Set – $16.96 – $5.00 Q = $11.96
Chuck My Talking Talking Truck – $34.96 – $10.00 Q = $24.96
Playschool Tumble ‘N Twirl Top – $21.97 – $4.00 Q = $17.97
Playschool Step Start Walk ‘N Ride – $19.96 – $5.00 Q = $14.96
Gloworm – $9.97 – $2.00 Q = $7.97
Mr. Potato Head Classic – $6.97- $2.00 Q = $4.97
**********
Although I didn’t find this in my local Walmart, it has been reported that the Pictureka Flipper is on clearance for $3.50, which in that case you’ll score a FREE game with $1.50 in overage when you use the $5.00 Q.
**********
Here’s what we bought:
(2) Strawberry Shortcake Sets = $23.84
Use $5.00 Q
Final cost was $9.42 each
and
(2) My Little Ponies = $10.00
Used BOGO Free Q
Final cost was $2.50 each
Ever notice you always end up spending more money when you take your child with you??
That’s about all the info I could get on that shopping trip! It was nearing nap time and to avoid the impending meltdown, we had to high tail it out of there! Let us know in the comment section what deals you’ve scored with these toy/game Qs!

OH! One more thing! Apparently some are using the game Qs for travel size games (since they do NOT specify a size limit). I didn’t see any cheap travel sizes at Walmart, but my sister scored the travel size Sorry at Walgreens for $6.99, used the $4.00 Q to get it for just $2.99!!

As far as all of the reports of people snagging the Card Game Versions on the cheap using these Qs…I don’t see how that would work. For example, the Monopoly Card game is called Monopoly Deal…totally different name (and bar code for that matter). If you’re feeling brave, try it…but I wouldn’t count on it. It seems like the Q would definately beep and the cashier would have to force it  through, so it IS possible. Again, let us know if it does work for you on any specific game.

I was just on Facebook (yes, again…it’s addictive!) and noticed this message from Incredible Edible Eggs:

Hey egg fans! 30,000 coupons will be available for download via the “Free Eggs” tab this Friday, 2/5. The “buy-one get-one free” coupon is good for any brand of eggs up to $1.50 at the grocery store in your hometown. The coupon goes live at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT so set your egg timers!

If you have not done so yet, go here to Become a Fan on Facebook. I will remind everyone on Friday morning to go claim your FREE eggs!

Oh, and one more thing…this message states $1.50 limit, so I guess my deal idea for Eggland’s Best eggs won’t be as sweet! So much for optimism!
