So I was at Kroger last night and the dairy guy told me about this 4-day sale Kroger was having that included $1.00 cheese! I put down the package of cheese that I was going to pay $2.49 for and went back today to STOCK UP! This sale is not advertised ANYWHERE except on a poster when you first walk in the store. Here’s what’s included in the sale:
Kroger Cheese (6-8oz) Shredded or Block – $1.00
Flat Iron Steaks (USDA Choice Beef Shoulder) – $3.99/lb
Tuscan Canteloupe or Pureheart Personal Watermelon – $2.50
7-Up, A&W, Sunkist, etc. (2 Liter) – $0.88
I just bought like 25 packages of cheese!! They don’t expire until July & August, so I probably won’t even need to freeze these as we are BIG cheese eaters and will most likely have them eaten before then! If you were planning on stocking up for your freezer I would suggest purchasing the shredded variety…seems like the block cheese never freezes well.
