You want in on these FREE Batteries? Here’s what you do:

Buy (2) Duracell AA or AAA Batteries (20pk) = $19.98

Another HOT deal back this week is Hammermill Copy Paper for just $1.00 after easy rebate, limit 2. Here’s the math on this one:

Buy (2) Hammermill Copy Plus Paper (500 sheet ream) – $6.49 each

I always snag this paper when it goes on sale for $1.00…it’s not the best quality paper, but it works for me and all of the hundreds of coupons I print!!

Will Staples take coupons for the batteries to make it a money maker?

2 Katarina April 23, 2010 at 11:24 pm

Yes, Carol…Staples accepts manufacturer coupons. What coupons do you have?

I was thinking that I had a Duracell coupon, but then realized it’s a digital one on my Kroger card. :P

Yes, Mariah…they do have an expiration date.

How long are the rewards checks good for? I’m new to the Staples Rewards Program…

From Staples.com: Rewards expire the last day of the month 2 months following the month in which they are issued and can not be redeemed after the expiration date.

Everytime I go to order this, it says it’s out of stock just like last weeks deal, I don’t understand? I’m logged in and everything.

Eileen, I believe this is an in-store promotion only.

A word of warning about Staples Rewards….I got in on the free batteries in December and racked up a big rewards check.
I only used part of the amount when I went to the store. They then issued me a piece of paper showing my balance I had left. I was told I would have to use ALL of that balance on one trip to the store or it would not be good after that.
My balance was over $120!
I did not know this was how they worked their reward program.
Had I known this, I would have purchased more on my first trip.
I thought it would work like a gift card. Use it a little at a time or whatever.
That is a warning for others in case they don’t use the entire balance of their reward all at one time!
I learned the hard way.
